Le Crocine "Risico" Toscana Rosso, Marzichi Lenzi

Produced out of grapes from exceptional terroirs, this wine has freshness, finesse  and a certain temper that  characterizes well the wines of Bolgheri. 

After the sorting of the grapes, the full berries are put by gravity in to small stainless steel vats. The grapes undergo a brief cold-soak before the fermentation starts naturally, followed by the malolactic. Once both fermentations are done the wine is gently moved in to second and third year French barrels for approximately 18 months. During this time with move the lees to give richness to the wines by doing some “battonage”.
