This wine hails from the area originally known as Torre delle Teste di Gallico, which the locals consolidated into “Jaddico”, derived from the Langobardic word for ‘forest’—symbolizing the rich vegetation that covered the area since ancient times.
TASTING NOTES:
Vibrant, deep ruby red with a delicate rim. The nose is expressive and inviting, offering violet and rose aromas layered with raspberry, young cherry, and a hint of fresh strawberry in the background. On the palate, it delivers refined fruit and substantial weight, supported by firm, gripping tannins and a lively drive, culminating in a condensed, enduring finish.
